In partnership with the Education Writers Association, NCTQ will be hosting a webinar for education journalists on Tuesday, November 18 that looks at the in's and out's of covering teacher contract negotiations. The webinar features Steve Lopes, who oversees negotiations in 26 Kansas districts on behalf of the Kansas NEA, and Dan Weisberg, the negotiations and contract policy chief for the New York City Schools.

The webinar aims to demystify the bargaining process and show how teacher contracts affect teacher quality and student learning.
