Get this: Fort Bend, Texas elementary teacher Amber Alchalabi took 22 days off of school?with her principal?s permission--to appear on the ABC-TV show, The Bachelor.

When some parents got wind of it, they were pretty angry. They were most upset that the school system let ABC tape portions of the sometimes-racy show at the school.

The school board didn't take action against Alchalabi but they demoted and reassigned her principal.

From the looks of it, there are no winners here. Unless, of course, Alchalabi gets the "final rose."
