A recent AP story highlighted the Taxpayer-Teacher Protection Act, which gives new math, science, and special ed teachers up to $17,500 in relief on their student loans. That's $12,500 more than they could get before the law was passed last October. Unfortunately, no one seems to be doing a great job of publicizing the program.
