NCTQ welcomes Paul Smith. As our new Field Director Paul will be responsible for our latest initiative--working with community leaders from across the country to improve the outcomes of contract negotiations from the perspective of what is best for school children. Paul is a former teacher and comes to us from Johns Hopkins' Talent Development whole school reform model, where he worked for the past eight years.

Bess Keller also recently joined NCTQ. As our Issues Director Bess will work with the media and help spread our message with leaders in state governments and school districts. Bess previously worked as a reporter on the teacher beat at Education Week.
