NCTQ is pleased to announce a wonderful new addition to our growing team: Sandi Jacobs as Vice President for Policy. Sandi's primary focus will be working with states to implement reforms advocated in NCTQ's upcoming State Teacher Policy Yearbook. Among Sandi's many accomplishments, she most recently helped to direct the hugely successful Reading First program for the US Department of Education. She also taught the 4th and 5th grades in New York City schools for nine years, beginning as a charter corps member for Teach For America. Welcome Sandi!
