The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation has announced the winners of its second annual Fordham Prizes, established to honor those who have made the greatest contributions to the ed reform movement. And the winners are&Howard Fuller for Valor and Eric Hanushek for Distinguished Scholarship. The awards are accompanied by a $25,000 prize.
Fuller is currently the President of the Black Alliance for Educational Options. He has crusaded tirelessly for expanding educational choice to low-income and minority families. Hanushek is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He has made his career on groundbreaking research that challenged conventional wisdom that increased school spending automatically raises student achievement. Congratulations to this year's winners!
